I need a good idea for a project for wood shop. I am a freshman and this is my first year of wood shop. It is a full year class. I have already made a key rack, a picture frame, and i’m finishing a cigar humidor for my grandpa for Christmas. I want a really good project idea. Best idea gets 10 points. Thanks

I’m a freshman and I take wood shop. For Christmas I’m making my grandpa a cigar humidor with his initials burned into the top. I’m making it out of oak. Any suggestions on what else to do?

I know this question has been asked a lot but everything I’ve read said that it’s best not to do it because the box won’t seal that good. My question is if you were able to make a tight seal on the box would it work? Anybody ever done this? And I know a lot of people are going to say just go buy the real thing, I have the real thing. I’m just asking about this because I’m curious if any body has had any success doing it. The box I have is lined with Spanish cedar, and I’m just wondering, if I could get a good seal on it would it keep a steady humidity with a water pillow or similar humidifier in it. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
